We stayed the month of December 2016. While staying there, we toured every other park in the Del Rio area and would suggest that Broke Mill is by far and away the right choice. In addition, the owner (Mike) and the entire staff could not be more helpful. Thank you Broke Mill!

 Juanita & Donnie Robinson We had a wonderful stay Broke Mill Rv park. They have the cleanest bathrooms and showers you ever have at a RV park. The staff was very was awesome. We will be back to stay at your park when were down in So. Tx. The swimming pool was great to jump into after a long hot day after fishing. Everything was great.

Came for a night will stay for a couple months. Had stayed at the park before. Liked the layout and facilities. Large wide pads is always a plus. RV'ers like camaraderie but like their space as well. Broke Mill meets those needs perfectly. Owner is friendly and helpful and on the property. We decided this was a great place to winter. Moderate winters and excellent infrastructure (for my wife that means there's a good Wally World). Good health care a great big lake to fish and great restaurants. So far, on a scale of ten, this place gets a 10. If the Thursday night BBQ put on my owner is any good I may have to give it an 11 or 12. Snow birds looking for a place to winter need to consider this place. Recommend it.

In our log, some campgrounds rate terrible, some good, only a few are marked excellent!
Yours is in the excellent list.  You obviously put a lot of thought and planning into the facilities and layout with a good idea of what RV'ers want and appreciate. Even a new RV park requires long hours and hard work, tied to the park every day, and a friendly contact with your customers and prospective customers.

The Texas hospitality at Broke Mill cannot be beat. Mike, the owner,
sure can cook an amazing steak over a mesquite grill. You will just have to try one at the weekly potluck to know what I am talking about.
And his staff is incredible; Lawrence, who takes care of maintenance, even asked if our 5 month-old son was awake before trimming the grass around our RV.
I can tell you from experience that there is nothing to worry about near Del Rio. Our truck broke down before Amistad Lake along the Texas-Mexico border when we were coming down from Montana. We were stranded overnight. We were frequently visited by the Border Patrol who made sure we were alright. We slept fine all night.
For those of you who are a little uneasy; Mike lives on site and is retired Boarder Patrol, a local police officer lives here, and there is an Air Force base close by. We really cannot ask for more. Don't be fooled by all the news coverage about other areas. Del Rio is wonderful and the Broke Mill is the best RV Park in this area to experience the warm Texas sun.

We love Broke Mill RV Park. It is rare to find such a gem that accommodates large RV's and all their slide outs, plus room for your tow car. The sites are very wide and long and lush with grass. Peach trees and Oleanders on site as well, and we were lucky enough to be there when our tree in our site
had some ripe peaches. Their internet service is some of the best I have
found. No trouble with connections at all. Mike and the staff are very friendly and if you make a friend of Tato , the border collie, I think you have a friend for life. He always seems to know us. We have stayed there since their opening and have been there over half a dozen times already this year. It is close to the lake for you fisherman, which is full and beautiful and close enough to Del Rio to run in for supplies. The border town of Del Rio is safe and seems to be well under control. Not like the other borders you hear about. We cross into Acuna for the dentist and have found everything fine there, although we only go mornings. Come visit Broke Mill.

No question - Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our state at the Broke Mill RV Park. Our visit with my sister and her husband couldn't have gone better. Plus, I got a free square dance lesson. Thanks for being such a great host and for having a great, clean RV Park.

Our San Antonio RV club stayed here and everyone enjoyed their stay and commented how this was a fantastic place. The staff, amenities and location were everything anyone could be looking for. We plan to stay here enroute back to San Antonio after a month in west Texas and New Mexico. We would recommend this park to anyone either traveling through or spending an extended time in Del Rio.

This is a very nice park. It is close to the Lake and to the town of Del Rio. There is room for your extra vehicle and room for slide outs on your RV. We watch the deer and the turkeys come from the brush into the park. The man who runs and owns the park is very nice and our stay here was very enjoyable.

Wonderfull park. We were most impressed with the staff,The building's,bathroom's and excerise room which were spotless and all in excellent order. Not only was it in a great location close to wall mart and was very close to the lake. They had a very large rec room and excellent wifi as well. Mike (the owner) came over and talked to us personally inquiring on how our stay was going and thanked us for choosing his park. I forgot to mention the wide spaces between the sites and many pullthrough sites which were lush with green grass. The laundry facility, over 90 cable channels and the pool which were top notch as well. The park is very nice you will not be disappointed. We look forward to staying at the broke mill again next we go through Del Rio.

This RV Park Rocks. First Class Facilities and Clean, Clean, Clean. This park is very close to Lake Amistad for those boaters like me. The owner Mike is a really nice guy and can serve as a very knowledgable guide when it comes to directions to attractions to see on the Lake. We plan on visiting with Mike and staying at the Park again during the Labor Day Weekeend 2009.
